الحلزون الأفريقي العملاق ، أو كما يدعى أيضا الحلزون النمر العملاق، أكبر الحلزونات في فصيلة الحلزونيات و هو يعيش في الغابات الإستوائية لجمهورية غانا حيث يصل حجم قوقعته إلى 18 سنتمتر و يبلغ قطرها 9 سم ، ومع ذلك هناك حلزونات أخرى أكبر بكثير من هذه .
