When I get new words , I try to use them everywhere and anywhere


I still remember when I used the words ((( coconut & cucumber))) for the fist time

it was soooooooooo funny

oneday I was in the supermarket and int the fruit & vegetables section

I saw something like brown ball and had something like brown hair .

" may be this is the coconut "

I said to myself ,

But as we saw the coconut in the cartoons it was smooth without hair ............

then I was not sure if that this was coconot or not

so that I decided to ask one of the workers


Me: ( pointing to the coconut ) excuse me, is this cucumber ?i :D :D


((( I confused between coconut and cucumber , as words ))

the man smiled and of course he wanted to kill me , then



pointed to the cucumber there


and said : noooooooooo noooooo the cucumber was there

كان ترجمت حديث (انا هنا)

انني عندما اتعلم مفردات جديدة احاول استخدامها في اي مكان وكل مكان..



ـــــــــــ تعليق لكيمـو ـــ شي جيد جدا ان نستخدم مانتعلمه في واقع الحياة!

مازلت اتذكر بداية استخدامي لكلمتين هما ( جوز الهند و غطاء اطار السيارة)

ــــــ كونهما متقاربتان في النطق باللغة الانجليزية الى حدما ـــــ

كان الامر مضحكا جداً:D

ففي احد الايام كنت في متجر ، توجهت الى قسم الفواكه والخضار . رأيت شيء يشبه الكره بني اللون وله شي ء كأنه شعر بني قلت لنفسي ( ربما هذه هي تمرة جوز الهند)

لكن! مارأيته في افلام الكرتون كان مختلفاً،فقد كانت ناعمة بلا شعر :D
ولم اكن متأكدا ان كانت هي ام لا . توجهت الى البائع

اناهنا: لو سمحت هل هذه غطاء لاطار سيارة (مؤشراً بيده الى ثمرة جوز الهند)

(حصل عندي بعض الالتباس بين الكلمتين ( جوز الهند و غطاء الاطار)

كان البائع مبتسماً وبالتاكيد كان يود قتلي:4: . قال: وهو يؤشر بيده الى غطاء اطارالسيارة ويقول:4: لالالالالالالالالالالالالالالا


وكان يوجد هناك غطاء اطار:D :D

;) When I was in inter- level we had in our school an English teacher from Germany ….I guess you know how the German people speak English . They pronounce the ( R ) ….I have no other alternative for it in English but we have a letter in Arabic ( غ ) .
My teacher used to say the word ( very ) …you can imagine how ….!!!!

I spend a year trying to get its meaning …looking it up in a dic. asking my friends….. till I ask one of the native speakers working in a hospital , then he pronounced theword correctly to me with its meaning …..WOW !!!

the story this time isn’t funny , but it’s something I can’t
and I won’t forget ….:

When I was in university …we had a prose lecture and

we were discussing one of the novel writers ….

( Samuel Johnson ) …

Our professor …started praising the writer and his way

of dealing with the ideas and so on … but the terrible

thing is that (Samuel Johnson) in most of his novels

attacks the Arabs and Muslims and always

underestimates them and consider them as war people .

In his novel “ The History of Rasselas, Prince of Abissinia”

he wrote “ From Persia I passed into Arabia, where I saw a nations at once pastoral and warlike ; who live without any settled habitation; whose only wealth is their flocks and herds ; and who have yet carried on , through all ages, and hereditary war with all mankind”
During the lecture I was arguing with the professor about

Johnson’s attitude towards us as Arabs and Muslims.

But he didn’t care about my comments cuz he

admires Mr. Johnson .

You know!!! ….I felt at that time as if someone slapped

me on face ….I can’t forget what had happened .

and,,,,, when I was in the college I had somthing like this

There was an indian professor who did not like saudi people so, all the time he attacked us and described us as stupid & lazy people and we don't deserve the money & civilization that we have,,,,,
one day in the lecture the professor repeated the same speech I lost my mind and became nervous ,, I asked him to stop this farce and stop repeating this speech ,,,,,,,,,, do you know what happened????

the great professor dimissed me out of the lecture and the students could not be able to say any thing
