1- a blue moon = a spoon
2- a bluebottle = a policeman
3- a boat race = a face
4- bloody = very
5- a bloke = a man
6- to blank someone = to ignore him
7- to blab = to tell a secret; to reveal something private in public.
8- black and white = night
9- a Bill shop = a police station
10- bite your tongue! ( exclamation) = " be sorry you said that!" ; "take back what you said!"
11- a birdbrain = a stupid-acting person
12- a Bimmer = a Bee Em = a BMW car
13- to bev = to drink
14- to belt up = to be quiet; to shut up
15- to belt (down) = to rain hard
16- to belay = to cancel
17- beggar my neighbour = unemployed
18- bats = batty = crazy
19- beddy-byes = a sleep
20- bang off = immediately; right now
21- above stairs = upstairs
22- abso-bloody-lutely = absolutely
23- accidently-on-purpose = deliberate but meant to look like an accident
24- !Ace! (interjection) = Excellent
25- all set = all ready

this is the first time i read british slang

they r very complex
r they very common to learn them?

these expression r understood but the others r a bite difficult

i remembered what my friend told me about the language there ....... he said i couldn't undestand for the first time
cuase they use the words for

different meanings
