في ليلة الخامس عشر من محرم 1436هـ اكتمل قمر أسرة الغفيص بدراً مشرقاً أضاء مدينة الرياض , بانعقاد الاجتماع السنوي لأسرة الغفيص , بحضور الأعمام وأبناء الأعمام كباراً وصغاراً , حيث بدأت فعاليات الاجتماع بعد صلاة المغرب مباشرة في قاعة صدر المنصة , حيث تصافحت الأيدي والقلوب , تلا ذلك إقامة البرنامج الثقافي بعد صلاة العشاء تخلله عرضٌ مرئي , وجوائز قيمة , وكلمة الأسرة , وكلمة اللجنة المنظمة , ثم اختتم البرنامج بأبيات شعرية قدمها أحد أبناء العم , تناول الجميع بعد ذلك طعام العشاء , ثم توزيع الهدايا التذكارية .
