عقد المركز دورة تدريبية عنوانها ( دلائل نضج الكمبوست) وذلك خلال الفترة 17-18ربيع أول 1434هـ في معمل التربة والمياه في قسم إنتاج النبات ووقايته في كلية الزراعة والطب البيطري. والهدف من الدورة تدريب المشاركين على فحص جودة الكمبوست للتعرف على صلاحيته للاستخدام الآمن للنبات والبيئة بعدة طرق من خلال عمل اختبارات ثبات ونضج الكمبوست. وقد حضر الدورة اثنا عشر متدرباً من القطاع الحكومي والخاص تعرفوا خلالها على أهم الاختبارات القياسية المستخدمة عالمياً في الحكم على جودة الكمبوست ومدى صلاحيته للاستخدام الزراعي. وقد قدم هذه الدورة الأستاذ الدكتور عصام محمد عبدالمنعم وتأتي هذه الدورة المتقدمة في مجالها ضمن سلسلة برامج الدورات التدريبية التي يقدمها المركز.
