ارتبط نادي ميدلزبره الإنجليزي بـ المهاجم السعودي ياسر القحطاني ويعد صاحب الـ 25 عاما الفتى الذهبي للكره السعودية .
يذكر أن ياسر القحطاني ارتبط مسبقا بعدة اندية اوروبية .
القناص كما يلقب في المملكه العربية السعودية قد احرز على الصعيد الدولي 44 هدف من اصل 54 مباراة وكما هو معتقد ان المصري احمد حسام ميدو يحاول اقناع ميدلزبره بجلب ياسر الى البورو .
وقالت جريده الرياضيه "احمد حسام ميدو صديق مقرب لـ ياسر القحطاني وهو يرأس التفاوض والمناقشات مابين النادي الإنجليزي وياسر القحطاني ومع العلم ان لدى القحطاني نيه للإحتراف في اوروبا ومع العلم ان البورو (ميدلزبره) في حاجه الى شراء مهاجم في الإنتقالات الشتوية في جانيواري"
يذكر ان نادي ميدلزبره كان قد وصل لنهائي كأس الإتحاد الأوروبي قبل موسمين قبل ان يخسر من إشبيلة الأسباني على النهائي .

Saudi Arabian star Yasser Al-Qahtani is being linked with a move to the Riverside Stadium
Reports in Riyadh claim the 25-year-old Al-Hilal star is in talks over a January move.
“I won’t leave Riyadh for a place except Europe," the Saudi Arabia skipper is quoted as saying.
"This being said, I have to assess all the aspects of the Middlesbrough offer so that nothing will be left to chance.”

The 25 year-old, nicknamed 'The Sniper', finished as joint top scorer at the 2007 Asian Cup and has in the past indicated his interest in a move to the Premier League.
Riyadh sports newspaper Al-Riyadiyyah claims the Al-Hilal star is negotiating with the struggling English club as Boro boss Gareth Southgate looks to increase the team's firepower during the January transfer window.
"Ahmed Hossam, a close friend of Yasser, is leading the negotiations between the English side and the Saudi player, with Al-Qahtani having confirmed his readiness to compete in Europe ,”stated the article.
The player in question is in Cairo, participating in the 11th Pan-Arab Games, and told the newspaper: “I won’t leave Riyadh for a place except Europe. This being said, I have to assess all the aspects of the Middlesbrough offer so that nothing will be left to chance.”
If the Saudi skipper moves to Teesside he will join up with another of Asia's top strikers - Lee Dong-guk of South Korea
